About Rebel Archives

This isn’t a lifestyle blog.
This isn’t a New Age echo chamber.
This is a living archive of rebellion, truth-seeking, and soul excavation.

I’m Shayly McDonnell, and I created Rebel Archives because I needed a place to wrestle with the questions that don’t fit into polite conversation. The ones that press against religion and spirituality. The ones that haunt people raised with reverence and rage. The ones that most people bypass with hashtags, crystals, or doctrine.

This space is for the in-between.
For those who don’t need a guru but can’t pretend the mystery isn’t real.
For those who are disillusioned by systems—spiritual, political, or social—but still believe there's something worth fighting for.

Here, I write about:

  • The philosophy of personal sovereignty
  • The raw beauty of spiritual discomfort
  • The patterns of Human Design, astrology, and the soul’s blueprint
  • The grief and glory of waking up while the world burns
  • And the places where theology, psychology, and rebellion meet

I don’t post to be right. I post to stay real.

Some of what’s here will sound like scripture. Some will sound like notes scrawled in the margins of a breakdown. All of it is part of a long conversation I’m having with God, the cosmos, and whatever lives inside us when we finally get honest.

If you’re reading this, maybe you’re part of that conversation too.

Welcome to the archive.
